What data does Ascend keep, and how do I delete it?
Ascend keeps what it needs to run your account: your email and name, your Instagram handle and its public data, your chats and what you save. To get a copy or delete it all, send a request in Settings, under Privacy.

Get a copy or delete it
- Open Settings and go to Privacy.
- Choose Data export or deletion.
- Pick a copy of your data, or deleting your account and its data, and send the request.
Our team handles it and emails you when it’s done. Deleting can’t be undone.
Does cancelling delete my data?
No. When you cancel, your chats and account data stay saved. To delete them, send a request as above.
Keep your account out of public lists
Turn on Hide me from discovery in Settings, under Privacy. Your account and its Reels are left out of Ascend’s public leaderboards, breakout feeds and creator rankings. People can still find you directly.
It needs your Instagram linked by DM first. How to link it.
Not an Ascend user, but your Reels show up in Ascend? Email support@ascendviral.com with your handle and ask to be left out.
