How do I cancel?
Open Settings, go to Membership, then Manage Membership, and choose Cancel at period end. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. After that you move to the Free plan, and your chats and saved research stay.

Step by step
- In Ascend, open Settings.
- Go to Membership and open Manage Membership.
- Choose Cancel at period end and confirm.
Before you go, Ascend may offer another option, like a cheaper plan or a loyalty discount. You can skip it.

What happens after
- You keep everything on your plan until the date shown.
- Then you move to the Free plan and its limits.
- Your chats and account data stay saved.
- Changed your mind? Choose Resume subscription before that date and nothing changes.
- Cancelling doesn’t delete your data. How to ask for deletion.
If you’re on the Growth Plan
Pausing or stopping growth on the Growth page doesn’t cancel your membership. To stop paying, cancel in Settings. The Growth Plan ends with your Growth or Viral plan, because Free doesn’t include it. Pause or stop instead.
Cancelling a trial
On a trial, the button says End trial now. It moves you to Free right away, and you can’t start another trial. More about the trial.
Is there a contract?
No. There is no contract or minimum commitment time. Plans are billed month to month, and you can cancel at any time. Pausing a subscription isn’t available yet.
