We can’t promise a number, and no one honestly can. As a rough guide, a growth assistant on the Growth Plan can help you gain about 2 to 10 targeted followers an hour. Your content, your account and your targeting all change the result.

The Growth Plan comes with the Growth and Viral plans. Each one includes a set number of assistant hours every week.

We could never guarantee you a set number of followers, because the people you gain are real. Nobody can promise what each of them will do once your assistant engages with them.
The three things that matter most
1. Your content
Your assistant brings the right people to your profile. Your Reels decide whether they follow and stay. Ascend shows you what’s working in your niche, so you can make more of it.
2. Your account’s health
Instagram limits accounts that act too fast or look spammy. Your assistant works inside daily limits. An account with a history of bots or aggressive follow and unfollow activity can take longer to pick up.
3. Your targeting
The accounts and hashtags you pick decide who your assistant engages with. The closer they are to your real audience, the more likely people are to follow back.
Your follow-back rate
Your follow-back rate is the share of people your assistant followed who followed you back. The Activity page shows it overall and for each source account.
Why your following count barely moves
Your assistant follows and unfollows every day, so the number of accounts you follow changes less than you might expect. Following a private account also doesn’t count until they accept.
Where the AI fits in
The AI doesn’t add followers by itself. It helps you make better Reels by showing you what’s working in your niche and why.
Ascend also checks your own account every night. Your Profile page shows how your followers change over time.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell followers, and we don’t promise numbers. The Growth Plan is a real person engaging with the audience you choose.
You can pause or stop it any time from the Growth page. Instagram sets its own rules, so no one can promise an account will never be limited.
