How do I set up the Growth Plan?

The four steps

1. Start your Growth or Viral subscription.
2. Set up your growth plan.
3. Meet your personal growth assistant in Messages.
4. Watch your account grow.

The setup questions

• What are your goals? Pick all that apply.
• Who do you want to reach? The gender of your ideal audience.
• Where is your target audience? Everyone, or a country, state, city or zip code.
• Who already has your audience? Add accounts your ideal followers already follow. You need at least 3.
• What hashtags define your niche? Add the ones your audience follows. You need at least 3.
• How many people can we interact with? The most people your assistant can follow on your account.
• Where do you typically log in? Your dedicated phone is set to this location, to keep your account activity secure and consistent.

Good target accounts are ones your ideal followers already follow. If you want local followers, pick accounts from the same area.

Connect your Instagram

1. After you finish setup, Ascend asks you to connect your Instagram. Tap Prepare my device. Ascend sets up a secure device near the login location you chose, so Instagram sees a login from your area.
2. When it says Your device is ready, tap Connect to the device. Its screen opens right in your browser.
3. Log in to Instagram like you would on your phone. The connection window stays open for 10 minutes.

Once you’re connected, your assistant reviews your account. Growth activity starts within 24 to 48 hours.

If it says device login isn’t available yet, the growth team is still setting it up for your account.

Introduce yourself to your growth assistant in Messages. They’re real people, after all. If there’s anything you left out of setup that might help, let them know.

If you’ve used other Instagram growth services before, tell your assistant. It helps them avoid problems.
