How do I get started with Ascend?
Go to app.ascend.so and sign up with your email or Google. Add your Instagram handle and your niche, then choose the Free plan or a 5-day free trial of a paid plan. It only takes a few minutes.

The steps, in order
- Sign up at app.ascend.so. Enter your email and we send you a six-digit code, or continue with Google.
- Tell us your first and last name, and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Add your Instagram handle and confirm it’s you. Ascend studies your Reels, not your photo or carousel posts.
- Describe your niche in three words or fewer.
- Choose how to start: the Free plan, or a 5-day free trial of Solo, Growth or Viral.
- Link your Instagram with a quick DM code. It’s required on Free and optional on the trial. Why we ask.
Free or trial?
Free is a limited plan for one Instagram account. It starts you with 100 credits, it needs the DM code, and it doesn’t include the Growth Plan.
The trial lets you try a paid plan for 5 days. You get 500 credits, whichever plan you pick. It needs a card, and it’s one per person. How the trial works.
Your first day
- Look at Daily Inspiration on your Home page to see the top Reels in your niche.
- Ask the chat something about your niche. The message box shows ideas to start from.
- Save Reels you like, and find them later in Saved.
- On Growth or Viral, set up your Growth Plan and say hello to your growth assistant in Messages. They’re real people, after all.
