What is Kenji?
Kenji is an Instagram automation tool that manages follow-unfollow activity using software. I have reviewed over 70 Instagram growth services and ranked every one on my Instagram growth service grades page. Kenji is not a fake follower panel. The follow-unfollow method, when done by a real person, is a legitimate way to attract attention on Instagram. The problem is that Kenji does it with software.
Instagram can detect the automated patterns and penalize accounts using it.
How does Kenji work?
You connect your Instagram account to Kenji, configure targeting parameters, and the software automates your follow activity. Targeted accounts see the follow notification, visit your profile, and some follow back. Kenji then unfollows accounts that do not reciprocate to keep your ratio clean.
The issue is detection. Instagram monitors activity patterns and identifies behavior that no human could sustain. Automated follow-unfollow at scale triggers action blocks and account restrictions.
The problems with Kenji
Automation Bot Violates Instagram ToS
Kenji automates follow-unfollow activity on your Instagram account using software. Instagram explicitly prohibits this. Using Kenji puts your account at risk of temporary restrictions or permanent suspension.
You Manage Everything
Kenji is a tool, not a managed service. You configure the targeting, monitor the activity, and handle any account issues that result. There is no team supporting your growth.
No Content Support
Kenji automates one mechanical aspect of Instagram growth while leaving content quality, the most important variable, entirely up to you.

The core difference
With Ascend Viral a dedicated personal growth assistant manually works your account for up to four hours every day. The follow-unfollow method works when a person does it. The risk appears when software does it.
Kenji automates a process that works better and more safely when done by a human. Ascend Viral does it the right way, with real people building real Instagram audiences every day.
The verdict
One star. Kenji earns a point for niche-based targeting. The automation violation of Instagram's terms and the absence of any independent review base keep it at the low end of the scale.
The follow-unfollow method works. Kenji is not the right way to execute it. A real person doing it manually eliminates the detection risk entirely.
