Can Ascend check my own Reels?
Yes. Paste a link to one of your public Reels into the chat and ask what to change. Ascend compares your Reels with the ones taking off in your niche and tells you what it would do differently.

How to ask
- Copy the link to your Reel from Instagram.
- In Ascend, paste it into the chat.
- Ask your question, like “Why did this Reel do better than my last one?” or “How could this hook be stronger?”
Ask about your whole account
You can also ask about your account as a whole, like “Analyze my Instagram account @yourhandle.” Ascend checks your public profile and Reels every night. It can compare your recent Reels with each other and with your usual range.
Your Profile page shows the same public numbers, including how your followers change over time.
Reels Ascend hasn’t seen yet
If Ascend hasn’t studied a Reel yet, it fetches it and watches it when you ask. That takes a little longer, and watching a new Reel uses credits.
What it can’t see
- The Reel has to be public on Instagram. You can’t upload a video file.
- Ascend works from public numbers like views, likes and comments. It can’t see the private stats inside your Instagram account.
- It can’t read the text of comments.
- It covers Reels only, not photo or carousel posts.
